Who we are

Yanu, LLC operates this website. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to contact@yanu.you.

Information we use

We use the photos you upload, your preferences and answers to prepare personal beauty-product recommendations. We store purchase, refund and result-access records. If you choose results texts, we collect your mobile number and a record of when and how you consented.

Stripe processes payments and collects billing information, including your billing email. We do not store your full card number. We do not send result emails.

Service providers

Our hosting, storage, AI and product-research providers process information needed to run this service and prepare your recommendations. Uploaded photos are processed by our vision provider; research agents use the resulting observations. Stripe handles payment information. Photon and Twilio receive mobile numbers and message content, including a private results link, when you opt in to texts.

Mobile opt-in information and messaging consent are not shared or sold to third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers process that information only to provide the requested service.

Storage and access

Photo storage normally expires after one hour and is renewed when you start checkout. For a paid purchase waiting in the research queue, we may retain the photos for up to 24 hours to complete your results. We remove those queued photos when the purchase completes or is refunded; if immediate cleanup fails, the 24-hour expiry still applies. Drafts normally expire after 24 hours, and paid results and research records after 30 days. Payment, refund, consent and recovery records may be retained longer for accounting, service operation and dispute resolution. Service providers apply their own retention policies.

Your bag is private. Anyone you share its recovery link with may be able to reopen your saved answers and results, so keep that link secure.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and browser storage to keep your purchase and results connected to your device. Vercel provides usage analytics and performance measurements. We do not put your photos, answers, mobile number or private recovery token in its analytics events.

Your choices

Results texts are optional. You can buy and view results on the website without giving a mobile number or consenting to texts. Reply STOP to opt out of messages or HELP for assistance. See our text-message terms.

Contact contact@yanu.you to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Some financial or compliance records may need to be retained.
